COLLEGE WOMEN'S LACROSSE: CORNING GRADS DINARDO AND GROTTENTHALER EACH NET HAT TRICKS (2024-03-17)

Corning graduates Jenna DiNardo and Katie Grottenthaler each netted hat tricks over the weekend for their Division I teams.

DiNardo recorded her third straight hat trick for Virginia. DiNardo had three goals in the win over Pittsburgh for No. 10 Virginia.

DiNardo also had hat tricks in the previous two games against Richmond and Notre Dame.

The freshman has scored in all nine games this year and has 17 goals and six assists in her first season for the nationally-ranked Cavaliers.

DiNardo is third on the team with 17 goals on the year.

Grottenthaler had three goals in a 16-15 loss to Kent State. That’s one game after she scored two goals against George Washington.

Grottenthaler also had a hat trick in her first game of the year against Oregon.

On the season the freshman has 10 goals and one assist in eight games. She is tied for third on the team with 10 goals.
