YOUTH SWIMMING: GLEN GATORS SWIM CLUB HAS SUCCESS AT SILVERS MEET (2024-02-28)

The Glen Gators Swim Team participated in the 2024 Niagara District Championship Qualifier (SILVERS) held at the Webster Aquatic Center Feb. 23-25.

The team of 27 had an exceptional meet, including championship finalists, personal bests, Niagara District GOLD qualifying performances, and event champions.

Top eight finishers included: Emily Melveney, Karina Lapierre, Dillan Allyn-Nobles, Ali Mosher, Genieve Carro, Georgia Michel, Mia Carro, Makenzie Fish, Hudson Westervelt, Griffin Adams and Zane Cross.

Top 16 finishers included Caralyn Warner, Jake Signor, Lily Hall, Isaac Klesh, Talon Kiley and Caroline Wilcox.

2024 event champions: Mackenzie Fish, Mia Carro, Griffin Adams and Hudson Westervelt.

The swimmers have returned to training and are preparing for the 2024 Niagara District GOLD Championships this march.

Glen Gators Swim Team is a USA Swimming Sanctioned competitive swim club located in Watkins Glen. It includes athletes from the surrounding Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Northern Tier (Pa.) regionals.
