ON TAP TODAY: STATE WRESTLING, BOWLING STATE QUALIFIERS FOR GIRLS (February 23, 2024)

Sixteen local wrestlers from Horseheads, Elmira and Corning are at the New York State Individual Wrestling Championships in Syracuse, while area girls compete in the bowling state qualifiers at the Valley Bowling Center.

Horseheads has 10, Elmira 5 and Corning one wrestler at states. For girls’ bowling Elmira won the Section IV, Class A title and are the returning state qualifier champions.
