The postseason is in full swing in every area sport this week.

Overall there are eight events this week, with three things on Saturday.

Here’s a day-by-day look at this week, including how many events each day.

TUESDAY (1)
* The Edison girls basketball team hosts Sidney in the Secton IV playoffs.

FRIDAY (2)
* Area teams compete in the state bowling quarter at Waverly’s Valley Bowling Center.
* 10 Horseheads, 5 Elmira and 1 Corning athlete compete at states.

SATURDAY (4)
The top wrestlers from the area compete in day two of states.
* The State Bowling qualifier takes place at the Valley Bowling Center.
* The Section IV Cheer Championships are U-E.
* The Notre Dame boys take on Marthon or Bainbridge-Guilford.

SUNDAY (1)
* The Section IV State qualifiers start at noon at Cornell.
