HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: BRACKETS SET FOR SECTION IV PLAYOFFS (February 17, 2024)

The brackets are set for the Section IV boys and girls’ basketball championships.

For Class AAA the girls final is 6 p.m. on March 1 at Elmira as the top seeded Express host the No. 2 Hawks. That game is followed at 7:45 p.m. by the boys final with the same matchup.

In the Class AA semifinals the Horseheads girls are the top seed and they hosts No. 4 Binghamton at 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 in the semifinals. The final is March 3.

For the boys Horseheads is the third seed and they are at No. 2 Binghamton at 6 p.m. on Feb. 28. The winner goes to the March 3 final against Union-Endicott.

The Notre Dame boys are the second seed in Class C. They host the winner of No. 7 Bainbridge-Guilford and No. 10 Marathon at 6 p.m. on Feb. 24. The semifinals are Feb. 28 at TC3 and the finals are March 2 at TC3.

The Edison girls are the seventh seed in Class B. They hosts Sidney at 6 p.m. on Feb. 20. The winner takes on No. 2 Newark Valley on the road at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23.
