The Section IV Swim Championships and bowling girls’ class sectionals highlight today’s local sports.

BOWLING
CORNING, HORSEHEADS, ELMIRA AT GIRLS’ CLASS A FINALS
At Midway Lanes, 9 a.m.
The Express, Hawks and Blue Raiders bowl in the class sectional finals.

SWIMMING
Horseheads, Elmira, Corning at sectional finals (at Watkins Glen), 3:30 p.m.
The three STAC schools head to sectional finals. Area schools have a number of top seeds and Kaden TenEyck of Horseheads already qualified for states for the first time this year in the prelims. Horseheads 200 free relay is just a fraction of a second off the state cut time after the prelims.

TRACK AND FIELD
Elmira, Corning, Notre Dame at Section IV Classic
At Cortland, 6 p.m.
Three area schools head to Cortland for a tune-up for the state qualifier.
