HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: HORSEHEADS TOPS SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY TO ADVANCE TO STAC FINAL (24 PHOTOS) (2024-02-15) Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads girls’ basketball team is headed back to the STAC final after a 57-36 win over Susquehanna Valley on Wednesday night in the STAC semifinals.
Horseheads, who won the STAC title a year ago, will face Chenango Forks at 6 p.m. in the title game.
On Wednesday the Blue Raiders had four players in double figures, led by Sophia Bonnell with 17 points.
Jordyn Gross and Emma Kamas each had 12 points and Megan Wolf had 10 points.
Kaylyn Cook and Maddie Ribble each hit threes for three points.
