COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: ELMIRA GRAD GENTILE SCORES IN DOUBLE FIGURES IN 8 OF PAST 9 GAMES (2024-02-10)

Elmira graduate Morgan Gentile has scored in double figures in eight of the past nine games for the Edinboro women’s basketball team.

In a game against Gannon this week she had 12 points and nine rebounds, one off her season high.

The previous game she had 19 points and a career-high seven assists, along with six rebounds against Clarion.

She had a 21 points, five rebounds, six assist game against Slippery Rock and a 23 point game against Mercyhurst.

She had 20 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals and two blocked shots against Gannon.

She had 17 points against Pitt-Johnston with two steals, two rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

She had 19 points and two steals, with four rebounds against Indiana (Pa.) and 18 points against Seton Hill with six boards and four assist.

This season Gentile is averaging 14.9 points and 4.5 rebounds a game with 62 assists, 37 steals and 16 blocked shots.

Gentile is second on the team in scoring, third in rebounds, leads the team in assists, steals and blocked shots.
