COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: ELMIRA GRAD ABRAMS NETS CAREER HIGH 32 POINTS FOR QUEENS COLLEGE (2024-02-09)

FLUSHING, N.Y. — Elmira graduate Jalea Abrams scored a career-high 32 points for Queens College in a loss to Molloy University.

Abrams was 11-of-24 from the field and 5-for-11 from three, going 5-of-6 at the line in the game. She also had six rebounds.

The 32 points are the most by a rookie since Chelsea Reeves scored 33 on Jan. 8, 2022.

The 11 made field goals and five made three-pointers are a career high for the Elmira graduate.

Abrams averages 12.1 points and four rebounds a game this season. Abrams has 43 assists and 29 steals this season.

The previous career high for Abrams was 21 points.
