HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: HUGHEY NETS 27 POINTS AS HORSEHEADS TOPS ITHACA (2024-02-08)

HORSEHEADS — Maddox Hughey had 27 points as the Horseheads boys’ basketball team beat Ithaca 67-39 on Thursday night.

Hughey had 16 in the second half, including 10 points in the third quarter. Hughey had at least four points every quarter.

Jack Fesetch had 11 points, with three threes, and Mason Holloway had eight points, with two threes, and Dom Russ finished with six points.

Chase Harmer, Zach Lese and Josh Stout all had three points for Horseheads in the game and Miles Woodhouse, Brayden Kelly and Andrew Potter all had two points in the game.
