HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: ELMIRA EDGED ON THE ROAD AT BINGHAMTON (2024-02-07)

BINGHAMTON — The Elmira boys’ basketball team dropped a game on the road at Binghamton on Wednesday, 64-60.

Chris Woodard led Elmira with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Anthony Kitching had 13 points and nine boards, while Ashtyn Traugott-Knoll had 13 points and seven rebounds.

James Harris had nine points, four boards and two assists and Tyre Daniel had seven points, while Jerry Daniel had three points, a rebound and an assist.

Elmira led 15-12 after one quarter and held a one-point lead at the half and after three quarters, before Binghamton scored 20 points in the fourth.

Quamir Hazel led Binghamton with 25 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. He had three big threes in the fourth quarter. Yusri Razzaq had 10 points and hit 3-of-4 free throws in the fourth.
