HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: ND FALLS TO LANSING, BUT CAPTURES IAC DIVISION TITLE (18 PHOTOS) (2024-02-07) Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — While Notre Dame lost on the court Tuesday night, they finished the night as division champions.
With Watkins Glen’s loss on Tuesday night the Crusaders won their first IAC division tittle in a decade.
“I am just very proud of the kids and the effort and chemistry they have built together,” Notre Dame coach Nick Weirmiller said. “This was a goal of ours at the beginning of the season and something that they did a great job of really earning.”
On the court the Crusaders fell to Lansing 59-44 on Tuesday. Jeremiah Parker had 20 points to lead Notre Dame in the game.
Gabe Patterson had nine points for the Crusaders and Finn Schweizer and Manelik Jenkins finished with five points each.
