HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' SWIMMING & DIVING: CORNING PICKS UP VICTORY OVER ITHACA (2024-02-06)

CORNING — The Corning Hawks boys’ swimming and diving team beat Ithaca 91-78 on Tuesday night.

Alex Peng, Shawn De Pedro, Mark Hong and Liam Gill won the 200 medley relay for Corning in 1:43.33 and in the 200 free Aidan Clark was second in 2:11.51 followed by Jack Casper in 2:12.02.

Joey Crisco led a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 IM in 2:09.77 followed by Derek Guo (2:21.44) and John McKane (2:42.31).

Marvin Reimsnyder won the 50 free in 23.02 with Jameson Sierzant third in 23.58.

Brenden Jardin-Reed won the diving at 348.50 and in the 100 fly Louie Ferratella was second in 1:01.74 followed by De Pedro in 1:02.83.

Sierzant won the 100 free in 52.63, leading a 1-2-3 finish followed by Reimsnyder in 52.83 and Crisco in 53.36.

Guo was second in the 500 free in 5:54.04 followed by teammate Aaron Giardina in 6:09.22.

Reimsnyder, Crisco, Sierzant and Gill won the 200 free relay in 1:37.13.

Clark had the top time, as an exhibition, in the 100 back in 1:02.80 followed by Ethan Yarnell in 1:07.46.

De Pedro had the top time in the 100 breaststroke, as an exhibition, in 1:07.45 followed by Peng (1:11.22) and Hong (1:11.57) and in the 400 free relay Sierzant, Reimsnyder, Crisco and De Pedro had the top time, as an exhibition, in 3:41.53.
