HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: NOTRE DAME PICKS UP VICTORY AT NEWARK VALLEY (16 PHOTOS) (2024-02-02) Southern Tier Sports Report NEWARK VALLEY — The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team went on the road and picked up a victory at Newark Valley on Friday, 60-56.
Notre Dame led 12-6 after one quarter and 32-23 at the half, but Newark Valley had a 22-point third quarter to get within 48-45 heading into the fourth, before the Crusaders hung on for the win.
Jeremiah Parker led Notre Dame with 17 points, including nine in the second quarter. All of his points were in the final three quarters.
Gabe Patterson had 14 for the Crusaders and Menelik Jenkins had nine points, seven in the opening quarter.
