HORSEHEADS — Horseheads won the team title at the girls’ STAC Championships, while Corning had three champions and Horseheads had two on the day.

Horseheads had a team score of 188.5, while Oneonta was second at 157. Corning was sixth at 78 points and Elmira was eighth at 73 points.

Sonya Dordoni of Horseheads won the 94-pound title. She had a 15-0 technical fall win over Jay Karns of Oneonta in the title match. Alexis Collins of Elmira took third place.

Corning’s Courtney Castellana won the 107-pound title. She had a pin in 3:21 in the semifinals and had a pin over Serenity Rollins of Elmira in the final in 1:22. Rollins finished second on the day. Lily Gullo of Horseheads took fourth-place. She had a pin in 4:09 to get into the third-place match.

Keegan Rhodes won the 114-pound title. She had two pins on the day, in 27 seconds and 34 seconds, and then she won the final 9-2 over Kyrsten Yadlosky of Windsor. Alexis Milnes went 0-2 on the day.

Lily Veseck of Horseheads won the 126-pound title, winning all three matches by pin. She had a 25-second pin, a 1:12 pin and a 3:41 pin over Brenae Tedesco of Waverly in the final.

Jenna Comer took first at 138. Comer had a 6-1 win and then back-to-back pins in 4:31 and then in 3:36 over Morgan Evans of Horseheads in the final. Evans took second after a pin in 3:07 and a 5-2 win in the semifinals. Anna Sheahan took sixth. Sheahan had a pin in 53 seconds that got her into the fifth-place match. Morgan Adams was just one win from placing.

Ellie Johnson of Elmira was fourth at 138. She had a pin in 2:50 to get into the semis where she fell to Comer 6-1. She had a pin in 4:21 to get into the third-place match.

Harley Ackerman of Horseheads took second at 100, getting a pin in 5:59 in the semifinals to get into the final.

Chloe Owen of Horseheads was runner-up at 132. Owen had a pin in 38 seconds to get into the final. In the final she fell by fall in 5:03 to Payton Little of Oneonta. Mackenna Burnett of Elmira finished third. She had a 14-5 major decision win to get into the third place match and had a pin in 3:16 over Emily Phelps of Chenango Forks in the third-place match.

Lily Garrabrant of Horseheads took sixth at 145.

Kalyani Wiehe of Horseheads took third at 152. Wiehe had a pin 2:23 in the third-place match.

Tori Cortright of Horseheads took fourth at 185. She had a pin in 1:51 to get into the semifinals, and then a pin in 1:25 to get into the third-place match. Kirsten Davis of Horseheads took fifth. She had a 7-6 match in the consolation rounds, before falling to Cortright sending her to the fifth-place match. She had a pin in 2:27 in the fifth-place match. Amelia Reed went 0-2 on the day.

Ellisa Bly of Horseheads took fourth at 235. She had a pin in 1:36 to get into the semifinals. She then had a pin in 17 seconds to get into the third-place match. Mackenzee Davis of Elmira took fifth. She had a pin in 19 seconds to get into the semifinals and then she had a pin in 44 seconds in the fifth-place match.
