HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: SEEDS SET FOR SOUTHERN TIER MEMORIAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT (2024-01-12)

ELMIRA — The seeds are set for the Southern Tier Memorial Tournament at First Arena this weekend.

The tournament begins at 3 p.m. today and then it continues at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

At 108 pounds Tanner Knapp of Horseheads is the fourth seed.

At 116 pounds Horseheads’ Joel Scibek is the fifth seed and Dalton Webb of Corning is the sixth seed.

Elmira’s J.T. Guyette is the sixth seed at 124 pounds and at 131 pounds Cody Dale of Horseheads is the second seed.

Elmira’s Max Collins is the fourth seed at 138 and Coleton Owen of Horseheads is the third seed at 145, while Liam Ogden of Elmira is the seventh seed.

Lucas Mosher of Horseheads is the fifth seed at 152 followed by Corning’s Logan Bruce.

Clayton Smith of Corning is the fifth seed at 160 followed by teammate Tyler Farrand, while Greg Golden of Edison is the eighth seed.

Elmira’s Sam Brenen-Buseck is the second seed at 170 and Corning’s Brody Wolfe is the sixth seed.

Horseheads’ Hunter Lavigne is the second seed at 190 and at 215 Zahkyi Jenkins of Elmira is the fifth seed.
