Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Corning boys’ bowling team topped Elmira 5-0 to remain atop the STAC division standings, while the Elmira girls won 5-0 to stay atop the standings.
For the boys Corning shot 1,066, 1,014 and 1,028 for a 3,108. Elmira shot 1,040, 981 and 1,008 for a 3,029.
Corning had four bowlers shoot over 600 on the day. Camryn Stefanini shot 243, 218 and 205 for a 666, while Zach Sturdevant shot 237, 212 and 193 for a 642.
Peyton Nelson shot 203, 191 and 234 for a 628 and Cameron Kennedy shot 192, 213 and 216 for a 621, while Dante White shot 191, 180 and 180 for a 557.
Trent Belloma of Elmira had the high series on the day with a 246, 245 and 224 for a 715.
Frankie D’Angelo shot 202, 224 and 210 for a 636, while Alex Gublo shot 189, 175 and 227 for a 591.
Alex Smith shot 178, 196 and 189 for a 563, while Logan Card shot 225 and 141 for a 366 for two games, while Skylar Shadduckl shot 158 for one game.
For the girls Elmira shot 925, 851 and 776 for a 2,552, while Corning shot 743, 729 and 765 for a 2,237.
Elmira was led by Madison Smith with a 235, 188 and 223 for a 646 and Bella Wood shot 198, 201 and 131 for a 530.
Abbi Hink shot 215, 150 and 163 or a 528, while Madison Wasicki shot 173, 164 and 160 for a 491, while Kaybrenna Ervay shot 104, 148 and 99 for a 351.
Corning was led by Jadyn O’Dell with a 110, 203 and 194 for a 507, while Kylie Downing shot 203, 132 and 147 for a 482.
Alexa VanAlstine shot 156, 163 and 141 for a 460, while Zoe Harmer shot 151, 118 and 154 for a 423.
Avianna VanGorder shot 123 and 113 for a 236, while Ayden Hartford shot 129 for one game.
In JV action Elmira shot 754, 744 and 866 for a 2,364, while Corning shot 742, 833 and 773 for a 2,348.
Elmira got a 516 from Peyton Rozelle with games of 163, 172 and 181 while Jaxon Brooks shot 169, 161 and 174 for a 504.
Carter Gardner shot 158, 172 and 160 for a 490, while Phillip Addington shot 116, 124 and 190 for a 430, while Nick German shot 148, 115 and 161 for a 424.
Chase Kizis led Corning with a 162, 168 and 169 for a 499.
