HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: HORSEHEADS PICKS UP A WIN AT ITHACA (24 PHOTOS) (2023-12-14) Southern Tier Sports Report ITHACA — The Horseheads wrestling team picked up a 55-15 win at Ithaca on Wednesday night.
Horseheads Jack Clare got a pin in 4:23 over Titus Scott at 131 and at 138 Cody Dale of Horseheads won 5-3 over Quentin Getzin.
Ithaca’s Nicholas Popowitch pinned Seth Loucks of Horseheads in 1:36 at 145 and at 152 Daniel Parker of Ithaca pinned Jaxson Burchard in 2:34.
Horseheads’ Lucas Mosher pinned rohan Makepeace-Nunn in 1:25 at 160 and at 170 Dkiota Hamilton of Ithaca won 7-5 over Zachary Schrage.
Horseheads’ Hunter Lavigne (190), Martin Huang (215), Tanner Knapp (108) and Joel Scibek (116) all got forfeit wins on the day.
Seamus Carole of Horsreheads pinned Germain Harris in 57 seconds at 285, while at 101 Josh Knapp of Horseheads won a 12-0 major decision over Caleb Bergman.
