HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: GARDNER'S TRIPLE-DOUBLE TOO MUCH FOR EDISON TO OVEROME (2023-12-12) Southern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Cha Gardner had a triple-double and the Newark Valley girls’ basketball team topped Elmira Heights 64-33 on Tuesday night.
Gardner had 25 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Cardinals in the win.
Payton Littlefield led Edison with 10 points, including two first-quarter threes.
Gabby Milazzo had nine points, on three threes, and Charlee Stroman and Harper Hoffmann had six points each, Stroman’s on two threes.
Madisyn Huffner and Maycie Bennett had one point each for Edison.
