The winter sports season gets into full swing with 29 events this week, including 11 on Saturday.

Here’s a day-by-day look at this week’s schedule, including how many games are being held each day.

MONDAY (3)
* The Elmira bowling team hosts Corning. It’s a matchup of two teams that battled at the state qualifier a year ago, before Elmira won the state title. Horseheads bowling is at Binghamton.
* The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team hosts Towanda.

TUESDAY (7)
* The Horseheads swimming and diving team is at Ithaca, Elmira is at U-E and Corning is at Binghamton.
* The Horseheads girls’ basketball team hosts U-E, Corning hosts Waverly and Notre Dame hosts Owego.
* The Elmira boys’ basketball team is at Johnson City.
* The Edison wrestling team hosts SVEC.

WEDNESDAY (4)
* The Horseheads bowling team is at Vestal, Elmira is at Johnson City and Corning hosts Binghamton.
* The Corning boys and girls wrestling teams host U-E.

THURSDAY (0)
No events scheduled.

FRIDAY (4)
* The Elmira track and field team is at Cortland.
* The Corning swimming and diving team hosts Maine-Endwell.
* The Corning boys’ basketball team is at Binghamton and Edison is at Notre Dame.

SATURDAY (11)
* The Horseheads, Elmira, Corning and Notre Dame track and field teams are at Cortland.
* The Horseheads girls’ basketball team is at Liverpool, Elmira hosts Johnson City, Corning hosts Binghamton, at Elmira College, and Edison hosts Union Springs, while Notre Dame hosts Odessa-Montour.
* The Horseheads boys’ basketball team hosts Moravia.
* The Elmira and Corning wrestling team are at the Dave Buck Memorial Tournament at Elmira. Edison is at the Campbell Savona Tourney and Horseheads is at the Penfield Tourney.
* The Elmira swimming and diving team is at Johnson City.
