HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: CORNING BOYS CLAIM TITLE AT STAC PRESEASON TOURNEY (2023-12-02)

The Corning boys’ bowling team won the preseason STAC Tournament on Saturday with a big day, shooting 3,278.

Cameron Kennedy topped the leaderboard with a huge day, shooting a 789 series, with a high game of 280, along with games of 246 and 258, while Dante White had a 658 series, followed by Zach Sturdevant with a 636, PJ Nelson with a 61 and Camryn Stefanini with a 599, including a 224 game.

White shot 223, 265 and 170 and Sturdevant what 175, 203 and 258 and Nelson shot 208, 202 and 191, while Stefanini shot 193, 182 and 224.

Corning is at defending state champion Elmira at Dixie Lanes on Monday.
