HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: STRONG DAY FOR EDISON WRESTLERS AT LARRY GOODRICH MEMORIAL (9 PHOTOS) (2023-12-02)
Southern Tier Sports ReportNewark Valley — The Edison Wrestling team had a strong day at the Larry Goodrich Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
Greg Golden went 3-1 at 160 pounds, with a pair of falls. He finished in a three-way tie for first place at the weight, eventually finishing third through a tie-breaker system.
Cody Lucero took third at 152, going 3-2 on the day, all of the wins by fall.
Ze’Quan Mosley was fourth at 152, going 1-3 on the day and Caden Southard finished sixth at 190, finishing 3-2 on the day with two falls.
Dylan Paggio went 1-3 on the day at 285, winning his match ball fall.
Austin Donahue (116), Levi Utter (145), Mason Barchet (170) and Landon Baldwin (170) all wrestled on the day for the Spartans and Jace Shiller went 0-1 at 145, before having to medical forfeit out of the remainder of the tournament.
