COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER: HORSEHEADS GRAD SMITH EARNS ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS FOR KEUKA (2023-11-30)

For the second season in a row, Keuka College Men's Soccer goalie Carson Smith, a Horseheads graduate, was voted All-Empire 8 by the conference's coaches.

Smith was voted to the Second Team on Tuesday. He is the first Keuka College Men's Soccer player to earn a pair of Empire 8 selections in program history and is the first back-to-back all-conference selection since Tom Reynolds and Samba Doukhansy were selected All-North Eastern Athletic Conference in 2017 and 2018.

Carson Smith backstopped the Wolves starting all eight of their conference games and posted 11 total starts overall. He posted one shutout on the season and combined for another while recording 82 saves with a .812 save percentage. His 82 stops were the most of any goalie in the Empire 8 this season. Focusing just against Empire 8 competition, Smith had 71 saves with a .866 save percentage. He made 19 saves more than the second-highest goalkeeper in the league.
