Southern Tier Sports ReportENDICOTT — The Corning boys’ bowling team picked up a 5-0 season-opening win over Union-Endicott, while the girls fell to the Tigers 5-0.
Corning had a total pinball of 3,087 to 2,805 for U-E.
Cameron Kennedy had the high series of 681 with games of 222, 200 and 259.
Dante White had the second best series of the day with a 654 and had the highest game of the day with a 265, along with games of 196 and 193.
Camryn Stefaninni had a 621 series with games of 203, 234 and 186.
Zach Sturdevant contributed with two games of 212 and 203, while PJ Nelson had a 202 game.
Robert Miller had a 601 series to lead U-E.
On the girls side U-E shot 836, 840 and 820 for a 2,496, while Corning shot a 751-743-787 for a 2,281.
Kylie Downing led Corning with a 160-160-212-532 and Jadyn O’Dell shot 195-150-152-497.
Alexa VanAlstine shot 142-163-169-474 and Alexi Zimmer shot 148-162-146-456.
Arianna VanGorden shot two games of 108 on the day for Corning and Zoe Harmer had a game of 106.
