HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: FIELD SET FOR JOSH PALMER FUND CLARION CLASSIC (2023-10-23)

The field is set for the 2023 Josh Palmer Fund Clarion Classic Basketball Tournament, which will run from Dec. 27-30.

Th schedule starts at 10 a.m. on Dec. 27 when the Edison and Ithaca girls play in a regional semifinal, followed by NP-Mansfield boys taking on Edison in a regional semifinal at 11:45 a.m.

The Notre Dame girls play Seton Catholic in a regional girls game at 1:30 p.m. and at 3:15 p.m. Troy faces St. Mary’s in a girls division quarterfinal.

The Corning girls take on Harrison at 5 p.m. in a girls’ division game, followed by the Horseheads girls taking on Cardinal O’Hara at 6:45 p.m. and Elmira meeting Bishop Kearney at 8:30 p.m. in a girls’ division game.

On Dec. 28 the Notre Dame boys open the day against Ithaca in a regional game at 10 a.m., followed by the Troy boys against Seton Catholic in a regional game at 11:45 a.m.

The Corning boys then take on Starpoint at 1:30 p.m. in a regional game. At 3:15 p.m. St. Mary’s (Md.) takes on Bishop Kearney in a national division quarterfinal.

Epic South meets Greater Latrobe at 5 p.m. in a national division game followed by Horseheads against Mt. St. Michael in a national division game at 6:45 p.m. and Elmira and New Rochelle at 8:30 p.m. in a national division game.
