Postseason action gets into full swing, while there are some key football games on the schedule as well this week.

Overall there are 21 events over the next five days, however wins in sectional games could mean ore games later on.

Here’s a day-by-day look at what’s on the schedule each day, and how any events each days.

TUESDAY (3)
* The Horseheads swimming & diving team is at Vestal, while Elmira hosts Ithaca.
* The Elmira volleyball team is at Binghamton.

WEDNESDAY (3)
* Corning’s Jessica Fang and Sophia Myers play in doubles at the state qualifier.
* The Notre Dame girls’ soccer team opens sectionals at home with Seton Catholic.
* The Edison volleyball team is at Lansing.

THURSDAY (3)
* The Horseheads volleyball team hosts Ithaca and Corning is at Elmira.
* The Notre Dame swim team is at Elmira.

FRIDAY (6)
* The Elmira football team hosts Corning, while Horseheads hosts Vestal in key matchups for all three area teams.
* Horseheads boys’ soccer is in sectional semifinals at Vestal and Notre Dame opens sectional play at home against a team to be determined.
* The Corning gymnastics team is at MCA gymnastics.
* The Edison volleyball team is at Tioga.

SATURDAY (6)
* The Horseheads and Corning volleyball teams at are the Patti Perone Invitational.
* The Horseheads girls soccer team plays Ithaca in the sectional semifinals.
* Horseheads hosts the Jack Mathers Diving Invite.
* The Horseheads, Elmira and Corning cross country teams are the STAC Championships.
* The Notre Dame swim team isa at Watkins Glen.
* The Edison football team hosts Weedsport.
