HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: ELMIRA FALLS TO MAINE-ENDWELL (2023-09-22)

ELMIRA — The Elmira girls’ swimming and diving team hosted Maine-Endwell on Friday night, falling 91-70.

In the 200 IM Maren Novotny finished second in 2:44.64 and Ava Sherman won the 50 free in 28.14.

Madelyn Cavalier won the 100 fly in 1:09.12 with Bridget Hagan third in 1:23.75 and Sherman won the 100 free in 1:02.56.

Payton Dotts was third in the 500 free in 6:50.72.

Cavalier won the 100 back in 1:12.36 followed by Dotts in 1:21.42.

Eleanor Hagan won the 100 breaststroke in 1:40.14 followed by Alyssa Murphy (1:44.93) and Cadence Kipferl (1:48.09).

Ellie Johnson, Novotny, Cavalier and Sherman won the 400 free relay in 4:31.39.
