HORSEHEADS — The Elmira volleyball team went on the road and came away with a three-set sweep at Horseheads on Thursday.

The Express won 25-22, 25-17, 25-22.

“Girls played their heart out tonight,” Elmira coach Danielle Dille said. “Really left it all out on the court and played as a team. Great win for our program.”

Horseheads got nine kills from Adrianna Calbi and Abby Johns had five kills. Calbi also had five digs.

Kiersten McCarthy had six digs and 16 assists, Lexi Malay had five digs.

Horseheads won the JV match 25-16, 25-8, 25-8.
