HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' TENNIS: HORSEHEADS GETS WIN AT SECOND DOUBLES, BUT FALLS AT JC (2023-09-21)

JOHNSON CITY — The Horseheads tennis team got a second doubles win, but fell to Johnson City 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

In second doubles Madison K and Keru Fabiny won 7-5, 6-3 over Mallory Kienzler and Jordan Chase.

In first singles Reagan Knapp of Johnson City won 7-5, 6-7 (3-7), 1-0 (10-2) over Horseheads’ Anika Kamaraju.

Johnson City’s Aliya Hankey won 6-1, 7-5 over Ava Wing at second singles and at third singles Arianna Kilgallon of Johnson City won 6-0, 6-0 over Sarah Staats.

In fourth singles Juliana Berri-Brown won 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 over Miley Darmstadt of Horseheads.

In first doubles Clair Tripp of Taylor Ackley of Johnson City won 6-1, 6-7 (9-11), 6-1 over Lucie McKenzie and Ava Aderhold.

In third doubles Kazlynn Barnhart and Elyssa Savichky won 6-3, 6-3 over Isabella Liddle and Paige Stevens of Horseheads.
