The Edison volleyball team rallied back from two sets down, but came up just short in the fifth set against Whitney Point on Wednesday night.

Whitney Point won the first two sets 25-12 and 25-19, before Edison won 25-16, 25-16. Whitney Point won the final set 15-10.

Charles Stroman had five kills, an ace, a block and an assist for Edison and Maycie Bennett had eight assists, five digs, four kills and three aces.

Abra Caban had a kill and Harper Hoffman had five kills, a block and a dig, while Emma Maggs had 10 digs, an assist, a block, three kills and six aces.

Gabby Milazzo had 12 digs and four aces and Kailey Ripley had seven assists, a dig and four aces, while Macie Paribello had two kills.

Payton Littlefield had a dig, a block and seven kills and Emily Aiello had eight digs and an ace.
