HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SWIMING & DIVING: ELMIRA PICKS UP WIN AT SV (2023-09-20)
Southern Tier Sports ReportSUSQUEHANNA VALLEY — The Elmira swimming and diving team competed at Susquehanna Valley on Tuesday night, winning 86-43.
In the 200 medley relay Madellyn Cavalier, Maren Novotny, Ava Sherman and Bridget Hagan won in 2:18.86 and Hagan won the 200 free in 2:38.40 followed by Scarlett Hollenbeck (2:44.44) and Cadence Kipferl (3:02.32).
Novotny won the 200 IM in 2:45.20 followed by Eleanor Hagan in 3:18.90.
Sherman won the 50 free in 29.21.
Ellie Johnson won the diving at 167.05 and Bridget Hagan won the 100 fly in 1:23.07 followed by Kaydence Green in 1:25.56.
Hollenbeck was second in the 100 free in 1:13.56 and Alyssa Murphy was third in 1:17.45.
Cavalier won the 500 free in 6:28.22 followed by Sherman (6:39.58) and Payton Dotts (6:55.60) as exhibitions.
Johnson, Cavalier, Novotny and Sherman won the 200 free relay in 2:01.94. Dotts had the fastest tie in the 100 back as an exhibition in 1:21.37.
Bridget Hagan, Green, Johnson and Dotts had the top time in the 400 free relay as an exhibition in 4:55.36.
