CANDOR — McKenna Keough had a hat trick as the Notre Dame girls’ soccer team picked up a 6-3 win over SVEC on Tuesday night.

MK Young had two goals and Jhamariah Maxwell had a goal in the game.

Maxwell and Young each had assists in the game.

“Defensively we struggle to defend 1v1,” Notre Dame coach Joe Picco said. “We had moments where we played the best soccer of the year. Spacing was well maintained allowing us to play through the layers.

“I have to be better in our training of transition. This is the youngest group I have had. Sometimes patience has to be the most important trait.”
