HUDDLE TO BE PART OF WINEGLASS MARATHON WEEKEND (2023-09-16)

The Wineglass Marathon will have a local legend in attendance this year as two-time Olympian, and author, Molly Huddle will be joining the Wineglass this fall.

Huddle, who is a Notre Dame graduate, represented the United States at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics in London and Rio.

Huddle has held six American records, run in five World Championships and placed third in the NYC Marathon.

She co-authored the book, ‘How She Did it,’ and played a leading role in the creating of the female runner emoji.

Huddle continues to run professional for Saucony, and trains in Rhode Island.

Along with Bart Yasso and David McGillivray, Huddle will be at the Expo on Friday and Saturday. She will be running the Storflex 5K on Saturday morning and is speaking at the pasta dinner.

On Sunday, Huddle will be cheering for runners at the finish line.
