HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: ELMIRA COMPETES ON THE ROAD AT VESTAL (2023-09-13)

VESTAL — The Elmira girls’ swimming and diving team went on the road to Vestal on Tuesday night, falling 93-75.

In the 200 free Ava Sherman was second in 2:21.47 and Maren Novotny was second in the 200 IM in 2:45.95.

Ellie Johnson was second in diving at 130.25 and Bridget Hagan was third in the 100 fly in 1:23.06.

Sherman was second in the 100 free in 1:04.31.

Madelyn Cavalier won the 100 backstroke in 1:12.37 followed by Scarlett Hollenbeck (1:29.99) and Alana Brink (1:41.26).

Hagan won the 100 breaststroke in 1:40.90 followed by Alyssa Murphy (1:44.59) and Cadane Kipferl (1:52.92).

Sherman, Hagan, Novotny and Cavalier won the 400 free relay in 4:33.92.
