THE OFFICE WINS CYLL 6-8 GIRLS' DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP AS LEAGUE SEASON WRAPS UP (2023-08-19)

CORNING — CORNING, N.Y. – The Office didn’t waste any time as it rolled its way to victory on Wednesday evening at Joe Corcoran Field. The Office defeated Luxury Excursions 12-3 to claim the 2023 Summer Box Championship in the grade 6-8 division for the Corning Youth Lacrosse League.

The CYLL’s girls championship game was held at the newly dedicated Joe Corcoran Field at C-PP High School. Brynna Walsh led the Office by netting eight goals and three assists. Kassidy McNeill and Eliana Swanson each tallied three goals.

Veronica Nevins was balanced on the attack with two goals and two assists, with Shalaney McDonough chipping in with an assist. Luxury Excursions' Sotera Bacalles led the team with a pair of goals with Madigan Rial notching one goal in the effort.
