COLLEGE SOFTBALL: CCC PITCHER HILL SIGNS TO PLAY AT CALDWELL UNIVERSITY (2023-06-26)
Southern Tier Sports ReportCorning Community College standout Jayden Hill will be heading to Caldwell University to continue her softball career.
The pitcher, who helped CCC softball to national finals in each of the past two years, signed her letter of intent to play at the Division II school in New Jersey. She will play with CCC teammate Grace Vondracek.
Caldwell has qualified for the NCAA National Tournament in 16 of the last 19 years.
Hill was a two-time all-MSAC (Mid-State Athletic Conference) team selection and a two-time NJCAA Region III first-team selection.
She was a two-time NFCA All-American and a two-time NJCAA First-Team All-American.
She pitched 415 innings for CCC with a 2.31 ERA and 508 strikeouts, going 58-8 (88% win percentage).
This past season Hill was third nationally in wins and seventh nationally in strikeouts.
