HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD: NOTRE DAME HAS STRONG SECOND DAY AT STATE QUALS (7 PHOTOS) (2023-06-01)
Southern Tier Sports ReportENDICOTT — Piper Young had a third-place finish on the day to highlight the performances by Notre Dame on the second day of the Section IV State Qualifier Meet at Union-Endicott High School.
Piper Young finished third in the 2000 steeplechase in 7:58.86.
Makenna Keough was sixth in the 100 hurdles in 16.93.
Eleanor Green finished seventh in the 100 meters in 13.07, however she was already assured of a spot in states after hitting the super standard earlier this season.
Claire Devlin was seventh in the triple jump at 33-feet, 1 1/2-inches followed by Keough at 32-feet, 9 1/2-inches.
Isabella Mashewske finished 16th in the high jump at 4-feet, 6-inches.
