HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD: EDISON WRAPS UP SEASON AT STATE QUALIFIERS (8 PHOTOS) (2023-06-01)

ENDICOTT — The Edison track and field team finished up the state qualifiers with three top 10 finishes and a number of strong showings on Thursday at Union-Endicott High School.

Cody Lucero finished eighth in the 200 meters in 23.27.

Maura Heraghty was 11th in the 2000 steeplechase in 8:47.04.

Josie Burleigh took 10th in the pentathlon at 1,772 points. She was fourth in the high jump at 1.32 meters.

She took ninth in the 100 hurdles (19.86), eighth in the shot put (6.92m), eighth in the long jump 3.77 meters and seventh in the 800 (2:52.09).

Evan Bush was seventh in the boys’ pentathlon at 2,179. He finished 10th in the 110 hurdles (20.33), eighth in the shot put (9.77m), sixth in the high jump (1.64m), sixth in the long jump (5.25m) and 10th in the 1500 in 5:18.79.
