HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD: GREEN, KEOUGH MAKE FINALS AT STATE QUALS (6 PHOTOS) (2023-05-31)

ENDICOTT — The Notre Dame track and field team had a strong first day at the Section IV State Qualifiers at Union-Endicott High School on Thursday.

Eleanor Green was fourth in the prelims of the 100 meters to make the final. She had a time of 13.09 in the prelims. Her time of 12.71 at the class sectional meet had given her the super state standard, so she qualified for states just by running in the race on Wednesday.

In the 100 hurdles prelims Makenna Keough was seventh in 17.31 to reach the final. Isabella Mashewske finished 15th in the race in 18.25.

Mashewske was 20th in the 200 prelims in 28.70.

Claire Devlin was 16th in the long jump at 13-feet, 8 1/2-inches.
