Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — Olivia Switzer dominated on the mount and with her bat as the Notre Dame girls beat Union Springs 13-1 to advance to the Section IV, Class C final on Thursday.
Notre Dame, ranked fourth in the state, hit two home runs against No. 23 Union Springs.
Switzer threw a three-hitter and struck out 14 in the game. At the plate she hit a home run and had three RBI.
Reagan Burge hit a home run and had a double, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored.
Lawson Bigelow had two hits and scored two runs and Payton Miller had a double, an RBI and two runs scored.
Ava Mustico, Shannon Maloney and Meg Again had hits in the game. Maloney scored two runs and Again had two RBI and a run scored.
Izzy Griffin and Maddie Fargo scored runs for Notre Dame.
