CORNING — The Corning Hawks flag football team is headed to the Section IV Division I final after picking up a 35-6 win over Vestal on Thursday.

Brooke Johnston had a touchdown and an interception in the game for Corning and Macey Paige had a pick six for the Hawks.

Jayda Felker caught two touchdowns and Hannah Nichols threw a touchdown and intercepted a pass.

Hannah Smith threw three touchdowns and caught a touchdown in the game and Grace Robertson had an interception for the Hawks.

Corning faces Binghamton, next Wednesday, in the final. Binghamton beat Elmira 38-19 in the other semifinal.
