HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: SCORELESS GAME THROUGH FOUR, LATE RUNS THE DIFFERENCE AS HORSEHEADS FALLS IN SECTIONALS (2023-05-24)

VESTAL — The Horseheads Blue Raiders battled Vestal in a scoreless game into the fifth inning, but in the end the Golden Bears bats came alive and the Blue Raiders fell 7-0.

Megan Wolf kept Vestal off the board through four innings. Through four innings she had a one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts going. For the game she allowed four hits and struck out 11.

Wolf also had the lone Horseheads hit, a double.

Reilly Storer threw a one-hitter with seven strikeouts for Vestal.

Kendall Brady had a home run, two RBI and two runs scored to lead the Vestal offense.
