CHENANGO VALLEY — The Horseheads Blue Raiders ran into strong pitching in the STAC semifinals, falling to Chenango Valley 5-0.

Madeline Trisket threw a two-hitter for Chenango Valley, striking out 15 in the game.

Horseheads also got strong pitching in the game as Megan Wolf went five innings, striking out eight and allowing three hits and four runs and Maddie Matkosky struck out two and allowed one hit and an unearned run in an inning.

Rachel Lunger and Kristen Cole had the two hits for Horseheads in the game.

Colsten Beers had two hits and two RBI to lead the Chenango Valley offense.
