HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: MCIVER HITS THREE HOME RUNS AS EDISON TOPS TRUMANSBURG (2023-05-09)

TRUMANSBURG — Maliyah McIver had a career game with three home runs to lead the Edison softball team past Trumansburg 18-1.

McIver hit three home runs in the game, going 4-for-5 with seven RBI and four runs scored.

Charlee Stroman hit a home run and had two hits, two RBI and a run scored.

Gabby Milazzo had three hits, with a double, an RBI and two runs scored and Kailey Ripley had three hits, with two doubles, four RBI and three runs scored.

Maddison Pack had three hits, with an RBI and a run scored and Mariana Jones-Frosolone had three hits, with a pair of doubles, and an RBI.

Carissa Cowan had a triple and scored a run and Bella Moffe had a hit and scored two runs, while Lulu Albertalli had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Maycie Bennett scored two runs in the game.

Jones-Frosolone went the distance on the mound, striking out 10 and allowing just three hits and an unearned run.
