ELMIRA — The Elmira Express led early, but late runs helped lead Union-Endicott to a 7-3 win on Friday.

Elmira scored runs in the first and second innings to take the lead. However, the Tigers scored two runs in the fourth to tie the game.

U-E got three runs in the fifth to go up 5-2, before Elmira got a run back in the bottom of the inning.

U-E scored two runs in the seventh to cap the win.

Madison Smith threw the complete game for Elmira, striking out four.

Mackenzie Fusare had two hits with an RBI and Addisyn Chorney had two hits and scored a run in the win.

Ava Sherman, Allie Howe and Madisen Jones had hits for Elmira.

Lily Scornacchio and Jones scored runs in the game and Howe, Fusare and Jones had RBI.
