HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: JONES-FROSOLONE THROWS TWO-HITTER AS EDISON TOPS NV (2023-04-26)

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Mariana Jones-Frosolone threw a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts as the Edison softball team beat Newark Valley 13-0 on Wednesday.

Edison got doubles from Jones-Frosolone, Carissa Cowan and Madasyn Huffner in the game. Huffner had an RBI and a run scored and Cowan had an RBI.

Gabby Milazzo had a hit, two RBI and a run scored, Maliyah McIver had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Lulu Albertalli had a hit and an RBI.

Charles Stroman had an RBI and Maddison Pack scored a run.

Emma Maggs and Bella Moffe each scored two runs in the game.
