HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: SWITZER THROWS PERFECT GAME AS ND TOPS WAVERLY (24 PHOTOS) (2023-04-22)

WAVERLY — Olivia Switzer threw a perfect game as the Notre Dame softball team beat Waverly, 14-0 on Friday afternoon.

Switzer struck out 11 in the perfect game performance on the mound. Switzer also went 4-for-5 at the plate with three RBI and three runs scored.

Lawson Bigelow hit a home run for Notre Dame and also had a double, two RBI and a run scored.

Shannon Maloney went 4-for-5 with two RBI, a run scored and five stolen bases.

Notre Dame stole 12 bases on the day as Switzer and Payton Miller each stole two, Ava Mustico, Payton Sutryk and Layla Sullivan had one each.

Miller was 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored and Mustico had two hits, with two runs scored.

Sullivan had a double and scored three runs and Izzy Griffin and Meg Agan each had a hit. Agan scored a run and Griffin had an RBI.
