HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: EDISON NOTCHES 15 HITS IN WIN AT LANSING (24 PHOTOS) (2023-04-21)

LANSING — The Edison softball team had 15 hits on their way to an 18-2 win over Lansing on Thursday.

Edison scored three in the first, five in the third, three in the fifth, a run in the sixth and sixth in the seventh inning of the win.

Brianna Gorsky finished with three hits, and three runs scored, and Emily Aiello, Gabby Milazzo, Kailey Ripley and Mariana Jones-Frosolone all had two hits.

Aiello, Ripley and Jones-Frosolone all had two RBI and two runs scored and Milazzo scored two runs and had an RBI.

Charles Stroman had a double, two RBI and a run scored and Madasyn Huffner finished with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Bella Moffe had a hit and two RBI and Carissa Cowan had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored.

Emma Maggs scored two runs.

Jones-Frosolone struck out seven on the mound and allowed four hits and two unearned runs.
