HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: BIGELOW HITS TWO HOME RUNS, SWITZER TOSSES 1-HITTER AS ND WINS (2023-04-18)

NEWARK VALLEY —Olivia Switzer threw a one-hitter and Lawson Bigelow hit two home runs as the Notre Dame softball team beat Newark Valley 15-0.

Switzer struck out 10 and allowed just one hit and one walk in the game.

Bigelow had two home runs, a double, four RBI and three runs scored. Shannon Maloney had three hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Izzy Griffin had two hits and scored a run.

Ava Mustico had two hits, with a double, and scored two runs, while driving in a run and Payton Miller had a double and scored three runs.

Layla Sullivan had a double and two RBI and Payton Sutryk had a hit and scored a run.

Meg Agan, Switzer and Maddie Fargo each scored runs in the game.
