HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: ELMIRA GETS 2 HITTER FROM SMITH AS THEY ROLL PAST BINGHAMTON (2023-04-15)

BINGHAMTON — The Elmira softball team got a two-hit shutout by Madison Smith on the mound as they moved to 2-2 on the season with a 12-0 win over Binghamton.

Smith allowed two hits and struck out eight in the victory.

Allie Howe had three doubles, four RBI and a run scored and Ryleigh Ogden, Smith and Abby Lambert all had triples for Elmira.

Ogden scored two runs, Lambert had two RBI and two runs scored and Smith had an RBI.

Lily Cornacchiio had a hit and a RBI with three runs scored, while Mackenzie Fusare had a hit, two RBI and three runs scored.

Ava Sherman had a hit and scored a run.
